Unlike conventional Yagis based on approximately half-wave elements, the 2BS-3B uses full-wave loops on all three primary bands, taking advantage of one of the fundamental characteristics of the Cubical Quad design.

Performance on these bands will differ from that obtained on 10, 15, and 20 meters, but this capability adds valuable versatility when there is not enough space to install additional antennas.
Additional Operation on Other HF Bands
Operation on 30, 40, 60, and 80 meters requires an antenna tuner (ATU). These bands should not be considered resonant operating bands and will not provide the same directional performance as the primary 10, 15, and 20-meter bands.

Ma première antenne BIG SIGNAL fut la 10 BS270 4 éléments V et 6 éléments U devant les performances de cette dernière j'ai fait l'acquisition d'une nouvelle antenne BIG SIGNAL la 2 BS 5B une antenne merveilleuse quand on y a gouté il m'arrive de faire depuis le sud ouest de la France les États Unis avec seulement 30 watts avec des reports excellents ; par la suite j'ai investi pour une nouvelle antenne BIG SIGNAL la BS CO2 antenne 2 mètres avec un seul éléments que j'ai installé en horizontal à l'arrière de mon camping car pour faire du 2 mètres en blu encore une fois j'obtiens de supers résultats, la dernière BIG SIGNAL acquise est une 6 éléments 2 mètres 6BS2 pour installer en fixe afin de chasser les relais j'ai fini de l'assembler mais je ne l'ai pas encore installée toutefois je ne doute pas des futures joies que je vais avoir grâce à cette nouvelle antenne BIG SIGNAL ; moralité pour ne pas se tromper investissons dans une antenne BIG SIGNAL marque synonyme de qualité, de performance, et de plaisir pour la radio d'amateur F6DTS Daniel
